The Bradenton Police Department has arrested a man for shooting and killing his girlfriend.
Reportedly, around 5 in the morning on Sunday, officers responded to the 200 block of 19th Street East to investigate a 911 call. Upon arrival they found a woman suffering from a gunshot wound to her abdomen. She was taken to Manatee Memorial Hospital where she later died.
The investigation has revealed that the woman’s live-in boyfriend, Terry Braddy, shot her. Braddy was taken into custody without incident.
